Mobile DJ Service
We DJ weddings, parties and other events. Weddings require 30 days notice. We are at your disposal for all audio needs during the event including dynamic music selection and microphones for announcements. We have done weddings in the Bitterroot, the Seeley-Swan Valley, Missoula, Helena and more spots around Montana. Email clark@houseofwatts.com to check availability.
Recording music in the studio
Recording music is a blending of spontaneity, creativity and technological aptitude. Together, do tracking, overdubbing, mixing, and production. House of Watts does not provide mastering services, but we recommend Dynamic Sound Service in Seattle. Pricing is not determined by an hourly rate, but on a project-by-project basis. We are successful in having a continuous stream of work because we find prices that facilitate creation, prices that work for both the artist and engineer.
Recording on location
We can come to you. If your band is more comfortable playing and recording in your practice space, that’s fine. Once tracking is completed, the files are brought back to our studio where production work begins. We also record concerts. If your band would like to record an upcoming concert, get in touch with us at least 10 days in advance. We have quality examples of live recordings such as this Certain Molecules performance from the Modality residency series. We are also available to record events such as speeches, sermons, outbreaks of song, and ceremonies.
Radio production
Get involved with your college or community radio station; support them when they ask for it and keep tuning in. Through our access to college and community radio, we have a wealth of experience with producing radio programs, promotional announcements, underwriting mentions, public service announcements and more. We are capable of producing content for both non-commercial and commercial radio promotion.
Spoken Word
In addition to radio production, HoW has also taken on a number of audio books. As of now, our repertoire consists of one 14th century piece of French literature called Roman de la Rose, Rilke’s Notebooks of Malte Laurids Brigge, Pushkin’s The Captain’s Daughter and coming up, Ice-T’s autobiography The Ice Opinion: Who Gives a Fuck? We are currently seeking publishing houses interested in contracting our recording services.
Equipment Rental
House of Watts rents PA and DJ equipment for parties, weddings, occasions of all kinds. We also have a variety of guitar, keyboard and bass amps available for rental on a short term basis. Contact us for more information on available equipment and rates.
